The Big Bang Conference

Astra is the driving force and the content manager of the Big Bang conference, where 1,250 participants - mainly science teachers - gain inspiration for their teaching. The teachers are updated on the latest didactic and science knowledge; they strengthen their network, get introduced to informal learning environments and test the latest teaching materials.

Anja Hjorth Sørensen, physics and biology teacher at Hardsyssel Efterskole

This is the third time that I'm visiting the Big Bang conference, and I have found this very inspiring every time. This is the only place, where we can get relevant updates and input.

Danish Science Week

Danish Science Week is a national event that aims to create engaging experiences with science for children of all ages. Danish Science Week takes place every year in week 39, and more than 150,000 students from both primary schools and secondary education institutions participate. During Science Week more than 20,000 students participate in the Mass Experiment, which is developed in collaboration with leading scientists.

HRH Prince Joachim, Protector of Young Scientists

I have been part of the finals of Young Scientists several times, and it is always very interesting. It's innovative science.

Science Talents

Science Talents organizes science camps all year round, where young talents can meet other students with similar interests and create cross-national networks. Furthermore, Science Talents educates science teachers to become talent counsellors - a course which enables the teachers to spot and develop students with a special talent within science.
